Job Title: Cost Engineer.

Experience: 4-7 years
Key Responsibilities:
1.Understanding the activity-based costing principles in automotive manufacturing processes such as injection molding, plastic extrusion, stamping, die casting, fine blanking etc.
2.In depth knowledge of Product Costing Methodology, Industrial engineering practices, Manufacturing Engineering practices, Manufacturing processes, Work - centers, Tooling etc.
3.Ability to work in cross functional teams including purchasing, finance, engineering etc
4.Ability to work in a flexible work time environment with good communication and ability to interact with stakeholders across the globe.
5.Ability to analyse supplier quotes for all regions
8.Ability to explain the should cost basics and supplier quote analysis to identify the gaps effectively based on the factual data.
6.High level of independent judgement, initiative, creativity and managing multiple projects.
7.Adept at problem solving, priority setting and time management.
Result oriented with high analytical skills.
9.Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required to communicate with the global team in a timely manner.
Key Requirements
1.B.E. Mechanical / Production with 4 – 7 years of relevant experience in cost engineering, should costing
2.Good understanding of manufacturing process planning
3.Should work under stretched delivery targets
4.Good should be good in written and communication skills
5.Knowledge of software like aPriori, autoform, FTI is preferred.
